Heyerdahl Jewellery a.s. was established in 1972 by goldsmith, Diploma Gemmologist F.G.A and Diamond specialist Mr. Sten Heyerdahl.
Heyerdahl Jewellery has got tree jewellery shops in the heart of Oslo, the capital of Norway. The main store is located near by the city hall down town.
Today the company is one of the major jewellers in Norway, dealing mainly with diamonds, pearls, gold jewellery and Swiss watches with a high profile adapted to the local standard. We are well known in the market for making our own high quality jewellery designs for our customers.
In 2006 the company was taken over by Mr. Sten Heyerdahl’s son Thomas Heyerdahl who has been working for the company the last 15 years. Sten will still be working for the company for several years to come. The company is still 100% owned by the Heyerdahl family.
Thomas Heyerdahl is a Goldsmith, Diamond specialist and Jewellery designer. After making the worlds most expensive iPod called iDiamond last year, he got a lot of publicity in the media all over the world. The iPod is just made in one limited piece, which was donated to charity as part of a Quintessentially event in London in March 2008.
Heyerdahl has also crafted another sought-after haute electronic item - the world’s most exclusive earphones. This new creation is named ”iDiamond ear”, and is encrusted by 204 diamonds. In 2008 Mr. Thomas Heyerdahl designed a Nokia diamond telephone in collaboration with Nokia. This was made in tree different models, and launched in 2008 for the Norwegian, Chinese, and Hong Kong / Taiwan market.
